Thamrong, a young man working as a bus driver and rubber tapper, meets Iu, a university teaching student raised by a strict father. Saphan Rak Sarasin, Mr. Ekachai Sriwichai’s version, has the highlight of speaking in the Southern language. It is a move to be more realistic than previous versions. (But actually in society, there are many Southern people who speak in the middle – the commenter is a Southern person who speaks in the middle. (Which we don’t know if the real Gow and Iw speak Southern like this or not) Even if they use the local dialect, it’s probably hoped that it will make them more involved. But strangely, it came out more emotionless than the previous version. The script that inserts comedy ruins the movie.
